I posted recently about the baby girl quilt I am making for a special friend.
It includes some gorgeous Russian doll fabric,
Anyway, I was chatting to another special friend
(one who will one day have a very cool blog I can link to here 🙂
and she suggested a softie to match the quilt.
Clever girl!
So here is the progress so far…
I photocopied a scrap of fabric then enlarged it to the size I wanted.
Next I traced the doll onto paper to create my pattern.
Then I used my special mesh transfer canvas to copy the pattern to my fabric.
The embroidery cottons are simply chosen to match the fabric.
