I was just so excited with how my quilting turned out that I had to share!
I did very straight lines on a kind of square zig-zag in the wide columns.
Then I did some free motion – sort of meandering,
with some waves every now and then.
It kind of echoes waves in the fabric.
Then I have a band at the top with another zig zag type free motion.
I’m certainly no expert at free motion but I figure I have to keep trying!
And a baby quilt is fairly small to manoeuvre under a domestic sewing machine.
This is so beautiful, I havent worked out how to freestyle sew on my machine yet ( it does not drop teh feed dogs but has this cover… just odd) but this is making me want to try and figure it out!!!!
