Two from One Jelly Roll Quilts

This book arrived on my doorstep last week after being ordered for ages.

It’s beautiful!

This is another fabulous book by the Lintott ladies. The idea of getting 2 quilts out of one jelly roll is great, and they take the time to explain how best to split your jelly roll if you want to make both the quilts in each section. There are the usual lovely photos, and many quilts are shown in alternate fabrics so you can get more idea of how they might look in different colours and fabrics.

The instructions are well-written with lots of diagrams to help. There is a section about jelly rolls and how best to use them. There is also a substantial section at the back on general quilting principles and tips, as well as how to calculate fabric to make your own jelly roll strips.

I’m already trying to work out which project to start first!
