Square Dance Baby Quilt… more progress

Another update on this quilt from this book – one of my current favourites!

Now the front is done

And the back is pieced from the leftover fabric

And the binding is cut and ironed ready to attach
I just have to lay out the layers and baste it

    It looks much trickier than it is, CK. Using the jelly rolls means its all about clever piecing and cutting.

    it's looking good. let me know how you go with the fancy back and basting. would love to know any tricks you work out to keep them lined up. the red fabric as the border should make the quilt 'pop'

    Wonderful work, I love the browns with the blues and the splashes of red. Great color choices.

    This is lovely, and thanks for the book recommendation.
    I have always used plain backings on my quilts; I like how you used the scraps on the back of this, and i will try that, too. Makes it a 2-for1! Thanks!
