I’m planning ahead for next Christmas. I know! Mad!!
But I have to start on this idea while I have it in my head. (And I figure kids Christmas books might go on special after Christmas)
I read somewhere recently about a blogger doing a slightly different Advent activity with her kids. Each day they were to receive a wrapped Christmas book.
I love this idea!
So I’m after your help.
These are the books we already have.
These are some that have been recommended to me already.
Also recommended: Santa Mouse
Thank you Belinda, Anna, Joan, Karen, Angela and HomeLifeSimplified for these suggestions.
Any more ideas? I’d love to collect 25 by next year.

The Nativity is my absolute favourite. The illustrations are just beautiful. And it’s available now, on special, at the ABC shop!

My boys love Mog’s Christmas and a Puzzle Book on the Nativity. You can normally pick some good ones up from Koorong. Mind you, I picked a lovely Advent Christmas book, where there was a devotional a day to read last year, but had lost it by this year. I’m sure you will have somewhere easy to find and won’t be as unorganised as I am though!

I bet your lost book will show up in time for Christmas next year, Caitlin! Thanks for the other suggestions.

(Oh and a big fav. in the Christmas stocking this year, is Where’s Santa, in Where’s Wally style. And Jonty loves the ordinary Golden Books Nativity. Mainly because it talks about Herod killing all the babies. Quite gruesome, there were lots of questions from him. So you maybe don’t want that. Unfortunately it captures a males imagination…)
