I’ve been at the ProBlogger Training Event. My brain is full of marketing and monetization, ebooks and email auto-responders. It was fabulous! But also overwhelming! So much great information.
But more importantly: Craft!
I couldn’t go away without taking a small project to work on with me. This one fits into my handbag so it was perfect. It’s an iPhone case cross stitch. The case is rubbery plastic with tiny holes already punched in it. I bought a kit from The Haby Goddess last week. I switched out the threads in the kit for some of my own DMC embroidery threads. My chevrons will eventually be ombre greens to blues. As you can see there is more to stitch but perhaps I’ll get it done on the plane tomorrow.
Another blogger at the conference asked me about the Clover cutter that I use when I travel and can’t carry scissors on the plane. You can read more about it in the post I wrote about sewing a case for it.
An Opportunity
I have spent two days listening to some great speakers talk about blogging. With sessions running in two different rooms, I couldn’t hear all the talks but as an attendee I can listen to all the talks and read all the slides online in the next few days. I’m looking forward to hearing some again and others that I missed.
Guess what? You could listen too! You can buy a Virtual Ticket to hear all the talks and see all the slides as well. These tickets give all bloggers the chance to learn from the ProBloggers. Find out more about the Virtual Tickets here.
