Blogging Jobs in 10 Minutes

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Blogging, How To Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

Blogging Jobs you can do in just 10 minutes

Have you got a spare 10 minutes? You could use it to do some blogging. Ten minutes might not seem like very long but there are things you can do in that short window of time that can make an impact on your blogging day.

Here’s a quick checklist:

10 Minutes On your Blog

  • Update your plugins
  • Answer comments from readers
  • Write a post outline
  • Fix 5 broken links on your blog (How do you find the broken links? I use a WP plugin called Broken Link Checker)
  • Pin 4 pictures to Pinterest
  • Share your latest post on all your social networks
  • Empty your spam comments folder
  • Brainstorm post ideas
  • Update your About page
  • Clear extra items from your sidebar
  • Upload photos for your next post
  • Share 3 posts to Google+

10 Minutes Off your Blog (but still blog related!)

  • Comment on 3 blogs
  • Schedule 5 posts on your Facebook page
  • Download photos from your camera
  • Edit 5 photos
  • Clear your email inbox – delete the spam, and read or mark for reading later
  • Find 3 posts on Twitter to read or retweet
  • Empty your email spam folder
  • Use Canva to create a pinnable image for an old post, then pin it

What else could you do with only 10 minutes of blogging time?

Great tips! I’m not sure I could keep the commenting on other blogs down to 10 mins…. I have a habbit of getting sidetracked and following links to other blogs and before I know it, an hour has passed. lol
Congrats on reaching 1000 subscribers!!! That’s fantastic 🙂

I LOVE your blogging tips – they are really useful to me and easy to read. These are excellent suggestions to do in 10 minutes. I have a list of blog things to do like add a Bloglovin badge, update the editorial calendar, instagram some photos, and my favourite subject lately – designing a logo.

The trouble is I think I’ll just do ten minutes and before I know it two hours have passed by! I’m going to look up the broken link checker. Thanks for the hint CM.

Oh yeah, great ideas. I really like to post on my blog, but get sidetracked with cleaning out my e-mail, labeling and resizing pictures and checking out forums. I really like to post pictures on my blog so that is another thing that keeps me from doing it more often. I think that I need to change my posting procedures. Using some of the tips here will help. I’m so glad I found the ‘Crafty Mummy’! Thanks for all that you do!
