Just when I was supposed to be taking a bit of a holiday break with the family, I stumbled across something new that I really want to do!
Did you know there something called “31 Days”?
I didn’t.
I saw Cate from Life Behind the Purple Door starting a new series and a couple of others on Facebook so I went to check it out. Basically a whole bunch of writers challenge themselves to write every day for 31 days in October. That’s it.
They choose a bunch of different topics in a bunch of different categories so anyone can get involved. The categories help readers find the things they’d like to read. I’m listing in the House and Home category and challenging myself to write 31 days of crafty tutorials. You can find all the categories and participants listed here.
My goal is to write a post each day for the rest of October that is related to crafty tutorials. Tutorials are definitely the most popular articles I write so there will be some brand new tutorials as well as some fresh updates of past tutorials.
As I go along, all the tutorials will appear on this page: 31 Days of Crafty Tutorials.
Want to see something particular?
If you’ve seen me make something here at The Crafty Mummy and you’ve always wanted to know how to do that, this is your chance! Let me know if there is a tutorial you’d like to see. It could be something super basic, like how to stitch a cross stitch, or something a little more advanced, like how to sew a laptop sleeve like the one I use for my computer. I’m not promising to have your tutorial written tomorrow, but I’ll certainly add it to my list of possibilities for this month. I might even have some gifts for those lovely readers who inspire me!
So leave me a comment below telling me what tutorials you’d like to read.
