My granny crochet blanket is growing steadily – mostly each night while I sit with the kids and listen to a chapter of Percy Jackson. (We’re listening via Audible but you can also find the books on Amazon: Percy Jackson and the Olympians Affiliate link)
I still love the variegated blue grey yarn and the way it creates stripes naturally. Plus it is lovely and soft to handle which is nice and snuggly.
After a big week of back to school and work for us, the time sitting each evening and creating a little more has been so soothing. Sadly I think I’m onto the last ball of yarn that I bought so it will have to finish very soon. It looks like it will finish a little over 1 metre square which cover my knees as I sit on the couch.
I may need to try to get some more yarn so it can be bigger I think.
