Yarn Crush

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Yarn Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

yarny goodness

I just had to share this lovely!

I was going to wait until I made something pretty with the yarn but so far I haven’t had a chance to start and I don’t want you to miss out on your chance to subscribe to these gorgeous Yarn Crush boxes with a special discount.

These boxes come straight to your door each month (or every second month if you’d prefer) with a ball of beautiful yarn, a knitting pattern and notions to create a lovely project. Each box is valued at more than the subscription price and contains everything to create the project plus often a little extra gift.

This particular box contained Merino Silk Lace from Sweet Georgia Yarns, a 50/50 merino/silk yarn, pattern from Oroya, #10 seed beads to match the yarn, and a digital stitch counter. I love that they have a special page on their website with more ideas for what to make with links to other patterns and tutorials, both for knitting and crochet projects.

Bonus:

The lovely folks at Yarn Crush have given The Crafty Mummy readers this discount code:  http://www.yarn-crush.com/craftymummy15

It’s a link that automatically will apply a 15% discount off the first month. It takes you to a page where you can choose either a monthly or bimonthly subscription.

What should I make with my pretty pink yarn?

I’m not a knitter and while I love the pattern included in the box, it is way beyond my knitting skills. I’m thinking that I’ll find an alternative shawl pattern to crochet instead.

I have a bunch of ideas on my Crochet Tutorials & Inspiration Pinterest board but I’d love your suggestions.
