It is the last Friday of the school holidays here. Where did that time go?! It seems to have flown even though we’ve had Christmas, New Year’s and a milestone birthday in the past few weeks.
It has been nice to hang out with my kids as well as find some time to craft again. Life gets busier as my kids get older and we have so many more activities in our weeks. It is good to just have days at home in our PJs and no plans.
But on to the Five for Friday.
The next holiday that seems to get featured around the crafty web is Valentine’s Day and Mollie at Wild Olive is already on it with these cute mittens.
I’ve had time to watch some Skillshare classes while we’ve been at home and play with my watercolours. If you’d like to have a go, try this video from Ana Victoria Calderón: Modern Watercolour Techniques.
Love this Midnight Quilting video with Angela Walters for Craftsy! She makes it look so easy – the piecing and the quilting. (I loved her dot to dot quilting class too.)
I’m loving this brand new podcast from Chris Guillebeau: Side Hustle School. There is a new episode every day but they are only short. So far I’m inspired to think a little differently.
Finally, if you’ve seen these patchwork hearts around the Web and want to make some, you can find the tutorial over at Cluck Cluck Sew. You’re welcome!
Have a great weekend! I hope you find some time to get crafty!
