Another Friday?! Where did the week go???
Even though I’m mostly a stay-at-home mum at the moment, my weeks still seem to fly by. Keeping a house tidy and looking after a family takes more time than I expect, and then I really want to spend time creating and writing as well. I’ve realised that the each time I say ‘Yes’ to another thing, I’m saying ‘No’ to something too. It helps me to keep my time in perspective when I think about what I’m saying yes and no to.
Meanwhile, I’ve gathered some fun crafty things from around the web this week.
There is a bit of a sewing and quilting trend below, so if you’re really into crochet instead, why not check out my crochet archives here instead.
1. I can’t get enough of quilt tutorials on YouTube. So many gorgeous projects to make and just not enough time. This one is from Fat Quarter Shop to make a Dragonfly block. Find the downloadable PDF pattern here.
2. Gracie from I Always Pick the Thimble has shared exactly how she got her fabric to fit in her shelves like this.
3. Love these tips from Melissa at Blog Clarity for making your blogging super productive – something I’m still working on after all these years!
3. It’s Book Week when kids love to dress up and Mums are on the lookout for easy options. This gorgeous Gumnut Baby costume from The Craft Train is both fun and easy.
4. This clever book is just what I need for designing cross stitch projects. It is the Sketch It Stitch It design book from Make It Betty on Etsy. You could also use it for crochet graphghans.
