June UFO Challenge

basting Japanese quilt

I have a confession. I have put off this post for a week now because I don’t want to write it. But today I am putting on my “big girl pants” and telling you: I didn’t finish my June UFO. Sigh.

I did make some progress.

I found the backing fabric.

And I joined the backing fabric.

And I basted the quilt layers ready to quilt it.

But that was as far as I got.

Sigh.

I’m not giving up yet though. I’m going to continue on this quilt this month as well as choose another UFO to work on for the UFO Challenge. Look out for my July UFO post soon.

(Read about the start of the UFO Challenge here.)

How did you go with your project though?

I’ve had a couple of people contact me and share their progress and finishes. I’d love to hear what you’ve done – even if, like me, you still have more to do. Leave a comment below, or pop over to Facebook and share on the Crafty Mummy page.

How is it done? looks real artistic to me. I don’t know about that art craft but it looks finished on the image above. I’m looking forward to your July UFO. P.S. I will be searching about that.
