Baby Crochet Blanket Finished

I wrote a little while back about my crochet blanket using Patons Inca. I have loved working with this yarn because it is so soft and cuddly.

Guess what?

My blanket is done! Yay!

It is a baby size blanket which is probably good because I would be very tempted to keep it if it were bigger and I really don’t need more blankets around here.

It is 118cm x 84 cm (46.5″ x 33″) finished. The Inca is 50% Pure New Wool, 30% Acrylic and 20% Alpaca and quite thick so it works up pretty quickly. I used 3 colours: Scarlet – #7040, Light Taupe – #7039, and Stormy Blue – #7046 – and love the finished combination. In fact it matches my couch beautifully!

I found the pattern at Handcrafted with Love, and it consists of two rows that alternate. One is groups of 3 double crochet, while the other is two double crochet with a chain between them to create the V shape.

So pretty! In fact, I don’t think you have ever crocheted a blanket I haven’t loved so far 🙂
