Baby wraps and singlet

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Sewing Tagged With: Baby, Blanket, Clothes, Cross Stitch, Gifts, Kids, Stitching Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

Although I have been working on my raggy quilt,
I did take a little time out on Saturday to finish off these flannel baby wraps.
The backs of these ones are plain cream.
The dinosaurs were just so cute I copied one in cross stitch on a singlet.
There’s a little baby boy who arrived a few weeks earlier than expected
who’ll be receiving some dinos 🙂
These are the wraps I made last week
– much more girly with spots on the backs.
These are so quick – 2 layers of flannel, joined,
turned through, and top-stitched.

    Hi,

Dropped by from Tuesday Tag Along. I lived in Australia in the 90's. My girls were babies then and I remember how crafty women were. Knitting, sowing, etc…I felt so useless because while I had learned how to sow and knit at school I never got into it afterwards. Art in kindies was also well exploited as was drama, ballet. I was sad when I came back to Canada. Here, there is no big interest in crafts, music, dance or art in general. Best regards,

    Anne-Mare

Look at your cross-stitched little singlet! (I like the sound of that so much more than onesie. 😉 So, so cute, and what a lucky little recipient!
