Building My Virtual Fabric Stash

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Fabric Tagged With: Fat Quarter Shop, Quilting, Sewing, Stash Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

with the Fat Quarter Shop

Yesterday I talked about why you might want to build a stash and what kinds of fabrics you might want to put in it.

Today I’m going to show you some examples of fabrics that I would love to add to my stash. Let’s imagine I’m building a virtual stash!

Spots & Dots –

FQS has a whole section of these but these are my picks:

Stripes

FQS has a section of these too

Small scale prints

Neutrals

Here’s the FQS section for these.

Primary Colours

Ginghams and Checks

Things I just love!

Wow! This was such a fun post to write! I am soooo tempted to go shopping right now – all that gorgeous fabric waiting to be ordered. But since my last package from the Fat Quarter Shop hasn’t even arrived yet, I think I should wait. You can check out any of these fabrics by clicking on the pictures. (Psst, let me know if any of them don’t take you to the FQS so I can fix them – thanks!)

Would you like to build a “virtual stash” too?

Go on! It’s the cheapest way I’ve found yet to indulge my fabric passion.

Pop over to the Fat Quarter Shop, find some of your favourites and copy the pictures into a blog post. Use my categories or make up some of your own. Then come back and share your post link so we can all check out your stash wish list.

Edit: As if fabric wasn’t calling my name already, I got email this morning with this in it!!

Thanks Dawn. I’ve just found out they have a sale on so some of my stash may not stay virtual!
