Peg dolls roundup

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Crafts Tagged With: Dolls, Kids Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

peg doll and shipLittle Miss has a school project to build a diorama about a person in their community. She has chosen a hairdresser, so she is making a hair salon. She wanted to make people so we picked up some wooden pegs. But will she let me take pictures of these fabulous creatures? No. They are still at school. So here’s the peg doll Mr Happy made recently from the Rainy Day Box.

It got me thinking about peg dolls so I spent some time collecting some ideas. Here are some of those I found.Click on each picture to see the fabulous blogs that they came from. Some even have tutorials to make them.

flower peg dolls{flower children for Spring}

peg doll family{cute flower family}

peg dolls flowers with pots{flowers complete with pots}

angel peg dolls{gorgeous angels}

peg doll sequin gold{love these sequins!}

ballerina peg dolls{beautiful ballerinas}

little lady peg dolls with balloon{little ladies}

pirate peg doll tooth box{this one is for sale on Etsy – you should see the rest of the store}

In the process of finding all these fabulous ideas, I created a Pinterest board where you can find even more ideas and examples.

Did you make peg dolls as a child? Have you made peg dolls recently?

    I really want to make some of these! Any suggestions on where to get the blank peg dolls? I want to make some superheroes for my littlies!

      Sounds fun, Cathy! I have seen them at Spotlight, or maybe try Riot Arts & Crafts?
