31 Days of Rainbows

31 Days of Rainbows

It is no big secret that I love rainbows.

I have created many rainbow projects over the years and I still love them. When I’m shopping for fabric or yarn, the rainbow patterns and prints often catch my eye – and my husband and kids roll theirs when I bring home another rainbow item.

Why do I love Rainbows?

I think it is to do with the cheerfulness of the colour scheme and the possibilities it has. Just about any colour can be included in a rainbow project really but those basic seven rainbow colours hold lots of possibilities as well.

Without the rain there would be no rainbows

I also love the idea that rainbows come after the rain. When life sends us tough times, then we start to appreciate the good times more. We realise how blessed we are in what we have and better value the people around us. I’m very fortunate that my rainy days have been few compared to many others but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t remember to see the rainbows in my life.

So along in with many other writers in October I’m joining in the 31 days project where I’m going to try to write every day in October. I joined in previously to write 31 Days of Tutorials which you can see here. This month I’m going to write 31 days of rainbows bringing together one of my previous rainbow projects and some new ones.
