Gingerbread Houses

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Crafts Tagged With: Christmas, Christmas Crafts, Food Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

More Christmassy goodness…
I made this last week with some friends.
Isn’t it cute?!
The kids are going to be so excited when they see it!
The kits came from Aldi and were for “Witch Houses”
but really they are too cute for a witch!
All the gingerbread was pre-cut so all we had to do
was mix up the icing, build and decorate.
It was really fun.
Here’s some pieces during construction.
And below are a few made by others.
This week we had the last day of our ladies craft group,
and I showed them how to make Yoyo Christmas Trees.
Here’s a few from that day…

I haven't made a Gingerbread house in years! What a fun thing to do – and with friends! Maybe I can get my bible study to do that one night this month! Thanks!

Last year I made an Aldi Gingerbread train! It's my ambition to make a gingerbread house from scratch this year – it will be my first time! Wish me luck!
