Barbie clothes

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Sewing Tagged With: Dolls, Kids, The Craft Barn Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

This week I spent some time testing a new pattern for The Craft Barn.
I’ve tested some before – a bag and a little pouch.
But this one got my daughter excited…
Barbie clothes!
Jennifer has created 5 new patterns:
pants/shorts, a peasant top, a shirred dress,
a skirt and a shirred top.
Very cute – and very easy!
I had never done shirring before
but it was a simple as popping the elastic in my bobbin
and sewing as usual.
It was good to learn on a such a small item really.
So if you’re looking for Barbie clothes patterns,

check out The Craft Barn.

    I am following you back!

Oh, this brings back memories, I sewed Barbie clothes when I was a teenager. They were complicated and intricate and soooo tiny. I wanted to do it because my grandmother had made me some – fittted jackets and dresses.

These look so cute and easy. I need to try shirring again too – haven't done that in forever.
