Do you leave your pegs out at your clothesline? I always have but recently my pegs are breaking as I hang clothes on the line so I wonder whether they are being ruined by sitting out in the weather all the time. A couple of weeks ago I decided I should make a peg bag that I can easily take in with the washing. This fabric was perfect!
I used this tutorial over at Love Me Sew. It was easy to follow but I was chatting as I worked and cut some of the pieces a little small! Oops! So mine looks slightly different but still cute. I really wanted to use the yellow flower buttons but they were kind of lost in the bay fabric, so I added a slightly larger button behind each one nd I love the result. You could do the same thing on kids clothes too.
You know the only hitch? I took these pictures before I put all my pegs into the bag, and when I did, they don’t all fit! So if like me you have heaps of pegs, make your bag a little bigger!

Can you please tell me where to but “clothes hanging on clothesline” fabric in your project?
It is so adorable, I would love to make a peg bag too.
Thank you,
Roseanne

Hi Roseanne,
I bought mine from Spotlight but it was a while ago now so I’m not sure that it would still be there. The selvedge has the name “Paper Dolls” printed on it.
Wish I could help more,
Tonya
