This is latest quilt I have finished for my son.
It’s a raggy flannel quilt with flannel front and back.
This is a type of quilt-as-you-go quilt and it was super easy.
Often they are done with just squares,
but mine has rectangles as well, a block called a Disappearing Nine Patch.
The fabric is mostly a kids print from RJR Fabrics that I had been saving.
It has starting to cool down here in the last few weeks
so I wanted to create something snuggly for this winter.
Here’s what the back looks like:

Very basic navy and white – try to ignore the fluff!
Looking forward to some snuggling 🙂

  36. great combo of disappearing 9patch and ragtime. It is interesting to see the trends in quilting. I'll bet if this festival was about6 years ago there'd have been tons of rag quilts-but this is the only one of seen so far this time.
