Girly Quilt

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Quilting Tagged With: Fabric, Pastel, Sewing Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

The next part of the Back to Blogging event over at SITS
is to repost a post I wish more people had read.
In my first couple of weeks of blogging I posted about my Little Miss’s pink quilt.
It’s one of my favourite quilts and she loves it too.
But of course at that point I had a readership of about 2
so here it is again…
This is the quilt I made for my daughter. Being a “girly” girl, she wanted pink and pink and pink! But we threw in some other pretty colours as well. The prints include fairies, castles and magic wands.
The pattern is from “Australian Quilters Companion” magazine, Vol. 2, No. 3. The original was in blues and greens, so this one looks quite different.

That is so pretty and girly. I bet she was over the moon! Definitely a good post to revisit!

    Thanks, girls.
Janet, your quilt is gorgeous too! And I loved the story that went with it.

This is beautiful! I am thinking of making one for my daughter right now, and of course, she wants pink! I'm visiting from Under the Table and Dreaming..
