Red Table Runners

Christmas table runner red white
I’m sure you remember the bunting I made a couple of weeks ago. You can see it here if you need to go remind yourself… it’s ok, I’ll wait… Back? Ok!

Well, I had some bits leftover when I made those triangles that I pieced together at the time and put aside for another day. After writing my post about table runners the other day, I realised the “bits” would be great as runners. So a little more piecing and some quilting, and they are in my store ready to grace someone’s Christmas table.

There are three different runners, two longer ones and a shorter one. Two have owls on the back the other has plain red fabric on the back. You can see them in the Christmas section of my Madeit store.

Have you got a special table runner you use for Christmas? Is it red or another colour? (I’m curious…)

I really love that owl print, i’ve used it on a few of my own Christmas projects. Such a lovely way to use up some leftover material

It’s great, love the owls! I’ve never had a table runner but am thinking maybe I need to make one this year 🙂

I love that red owl fabric. I use a table runner across the top of our piano. Nice to catch up here tonight 😉
