Wouldn’t this make a fabulous prop for a photo shoot!? Giant flower tutorial from Green Wedding Shoes
This gorgeous flower made me look for some simpler paper flowers that the kids could try over the school holiday. (We start holidays here in a couple of days for two weeks.)
Here’s what I found:
I made these paper roses a while ago from this simple tutorial at Dozi. I’ve since seen similar ones made of patterned paper and even used in wedding bouquets.
Another simple flower from How About Orange. These start as a pile of strips – great scissor practice for the little ones – then a staple and some double-sided tape to create the flower shape. Again I can imagine these in patterned paper as well.
And finally some brown paper bag flowers from A Place for Us. These would be lovely for teacher gifts.
Have you seen any other inspiring paper flower crafts around the Blogosphere?

Great tutorials. I’m sure my little miss would love to have a go at making some with me.

My girl is having a “crafty” play date next week – and the mummies will get to craft too ;o)

At fist glance, I didn’t even realise that rose was made of paper, I just thought it was a foreshortened photo! Wow!
