Guest Post: Party Outfits from B

Hi, I am B from bbeingcool. I would like to thank CraftyMummy for asking me to write a guest post for her this week. So nice to give her some time off for her birthday and to share some different things with her readers. At bbeingcool, I write about Fashion, Food, Home and Life.

I use the fabulous website, Polyvore, to create dream outfits. These have proven to be quite popular and they are so much fun to make! So… I have put together some party outfits for CraftyMummy, one for each season. I hope that they inspire you to add some sparkle, or use those accessories you have to make a real statement.

Summer…

Nothing says ‘Summer’ more than sparkly sandals and a simple dress. I love the idea of wearing black in summer {although I wear black all year!}, it is just unexpected. I love this simple gathered dress and adding in the silver and silver and black accessories really adds some summer pizzaz.

This outfit would be great for a beach side party, or a casual garden party, you could also wear it to a cafe with some friends or dinner with a handsome man.

Autumn….

 

My favourite colour combination has always been black and red. Always. I love the idea of a lovely tailored velvet or heavy satin dress with killer black heals and a feathery cape.This is the outfit that you would wear with your diamonds and your fascinator.

Wear this outfit to a fancy evening wedding, a cocktail party, a ball or to the theatre. Lovely.

Winter…

 

Winter parties need not be drab, I love this electric blue twist dress – perfect for CraftyMummy. Add some lovely turquoise accessories and these Vivienne Westwood tights for a dramatic yet elegant ensemble.

This could be worn to a dinner in a fabulous restaurant, a Winter Wedding, the races, the theatre or to a special event at a church.

Spring….

CraftyMummy loves green and blues and so I HAD to have a green dress in this set! This is a very simple green dress, but teamed with fabulous navy shoes and a gorgeous flower clutch, it is fabulous! By adding more jade green and navy accessories, the outfit is complete.

Wear this to a garden party or drinks on the beach, dinner with friends or a Spring Time Brunch.

 

Happy Birthday, CraftyMummy! I hope you enjoy some time with your lovely family. You have been such a blessing to me and have inspired, challenged, cared, supported and been my friend for so long, I don’t know how to thank you.
