Earlier this week I sat down to write my Weekly News, the newsletter I send out every week from The Crafty Mummy. It includes links to all the posts from the previous week, plus some extra reading links and an exclusive discount code for my Shop. I got a wonderful surprise when I found that this was the first week that the Weekly News was going to go out to over 1000 subscribers! Wow!
I wanted to reward one of those lovely subscribers with a little gift. The gift will be the large Padded Pouch which I wrote about over on And Sew We Craft yesterday. This is a great pouch for carrying books or notebooks. I have one the same size which I took to Blog Conferences last year, and recently used to carry music books. This one features raw edge applique using some scraps from my first ModernQAL block.
Choosing a name from the list is always hard and I wish I could give everyone a gift, but the gift will be going out to TJ Thompson. Congratulations, TJ! I have sent them an email and will get that gift out in the mail soon.
It was kind of fun giving a gift.
I think I’ll start sending out a random gift to a subscriber once a month. What do you think? Should I do that? I guess my lovely subscribers would say “YES!”.
