Stitching is so relaxing.
After finishing my rainbow cross stitch blocks, I was keen to have another small stitching project. I was missing that little bit of relaxation at the end of each day.
So I designed a new rainbow project!
This Rainbow Doily was inspired by all the crochet mandelas that I was seeing on my Instagram feed at the time. In fact I was going to call it a mandela, but in the end I feel somehow like it reminds more of a lacy doily.
It is stitched in the same colours as my other rainbow projects on a scrap of Aida I had lying around.
What would you do with it now? I’m thinking it will become the centre of a mini quilt, but I’d love to hear your suggestions.
