“Brown paper packages tied up with string”

What a lovely thing to get in the mail!

I know I’ve talked about a number of colouring books in the past few months but I couldn’t resist sharing a new one by a local to me business that is a little different.

Arttapi is based in Australia although they will ship anywhere in the world and they have a slightly different take on the colouring in craze. They are keen to help with workplace wellness by encouraging employees to reduce stress and boost productivity by colouring in. Studies have shown that there are huge cognitive benefits to doodling , drawing and colouring in that apply just as much to adults as they do to children.

With that in mind they created a Desk Mat colouring book (210cm x 260cm) that has tear-off pages and unusual wrapping cover. It is perfect for keeping on your desk and colouring at work. It includes 20 beautiful illustrations.

They have also captured some beautiful places that inspire thoughts of travel. Each illustration is a scene from a special city around the world and captures some aspect of relaxation.

Who wouldn’t dream of travelling to Bora Bora while colouring in these gorgeous fish?!

The illustrations are detailed enough to take some time to colour and the Desk Mat format makes them perfect for having on your desk and adding a splash of colour while you make a phone call or listen in a meeting.

As an ex- teacher I know there were those kids in each of my classes who needed to keep their hands busy while they listened so this desk mat would be perfect for them too.

There is also a smaller booklet size (150cm x 135cm) to throw into your bag when you’re out and about. A little colouring while you sit on the train during your commute perhaps? It includes 40 pages to colour plus a little information about each scene – maybe to tempt you to travel.

Lastly if you have a business, I notice that Arttapi can brand a product especially for you to use in your workplace or to give to clients. What a unique gift!

Check out the Arttapi website here, or follow them on Facebook or Instagram, and support a small business.

Disclosure: This review was sponsored by Arttapi and I was so excited to share their gorgeous product. All opinions are my own, of course.
