Time for something new.
I spend heaps of time browsing online. Every day I seem to find cool crafty things to share. So I’ve decided Friday is going to be my chosen day to share some of that inspirational goodness with you. The Five for Friday crafts will be a mix of beautiful, creative, clever, easy, amazing and gorgeous with tutorials if I can find them so you can make them too. (Make sure you let me know if you do, hey!)
Let’s be inspired to get more creative!
First up, this new class from CreativeBug looks fabulous. It is a 2 part course on painting illustrations with gouache, an opaque paint, kind of like watercolour paint. You will learn to paint flowers like these beauties.
If you’re into pumpkins for Fall or Halloween, then I think this teal one with sequins is the way to go! It is from Squirrelly Minds and there is a step-by-step tutorial for you to create one too.
If you’re looking for a new crochet project then I love this Radiating Dragonflies Throw by Pattern Paradise. You can find the free pattern on her website but it is totally worth a couple of dollars to buy the PDF version from Craftsy and support a small business.
Another Halloween themed craft is this cool Scavenger Hunt. My kids still talk about the hunt we did a few years ago for Easter so I love this idea. The clues are all ready for you to print, thanks to Britni at Play.Party.Plan.
Finally, I have to include something with a rainbow. This Pom Pom Mobile is so gorgeous and such an easy idea – pom poms and large wooden beads. Thanks to Emma from Kids Craft Room for this inspiration.
