Christmas is almost here but I just couldn’t resist popping in one more 5 for Friday round-up.
Either I’m super ready for Christmas or I’m procrastinating on making more rum balls!
In any case, I’ve gathered five lovely crafty ideas for you.
It is not too late to give a crafty gift this Christmas. You can give a 12-month subscription to Creativebug which means access to hundreds of classes online – perfect for people like me who don’t seem to be able to get to classes in real life!
How exciting must it be to see a book on Amazon that you wrote?! One of my readers, Rhonda Cratty, can do just that! If you’re a quilter, go and check out her new novel, Our Family Quilt – The Fabric of Life. It is on my reading list for the holidays.
I had a little fun the other day creating a quick video with the cute fabric that arrived on my doorstep in the QuiltyBox. This line is called Hand Maker by Natalie Barnes for Windham Fabrics. (Note: for some reason, it is blurry on YouTube but clearer on Instagram here.)
Huge paper snowflakes! How cool are these?!? Thanks to Oh Happy Day
It is not too late to do a little stitching and make some extra coasters for Christmas lunch. I wrote this tutorial for The Organised Housewife last year.
I’ve been thinking about a new Christmas quilt and this one is modern and gorgeous! Find it on Bernina’s blog called “We All Sew”. I’m adding this one to my list for next year.
Wishing you and yours
a very Merry Christmas!
