Are you on Pinterest? You know, that site that you can create pinboards by pinning images from anywhere on the web?

Well, if you’re anything like me, not only are you on there but you may spend a little too much time browsing. (Think: “Oh, where did those 2 hours just go?!?”)

Rainbow Crochet Blanket Tutorial: http://thecraftymummy.com/2012/07/crochet-rainbow-blanket-tutorial/Crochet Infinity Scarf: http://thecraftymummy.com/2013/06/crochet-infinity-scarf/

I was interested recently to see which of my posts here at The Crafty Mummy were the most pinned so I did a little digging in the statistics. These 10 posts are the top Pinterest posts in 2013.

Simple Boy Crochet Blanket: http://thecraftymummy.com/2013/02/simple-boy-crochet-blanket/Is Your Crochet Blanket Curling?: http://thecraftymummy.com/2013/08/tip-is-your-crochet-blanket-curling/

Interesting that half of them are related to crochet, while the others are a mix of kids activities, sewing and quilting. Not all of them have particularly fabulous images in them, but they are all tutorials or tips that are helpful in some way. I think that ould be why they are so widely pinned and shared.

I’ll certainly be planning more posts like these this year.

Click on each picture to see the original posts – and don’t forget to pin them to your boards.

I do love your crochet projects, particularly the blankets, they help me to live in hope that one day I will get over my crochet phobia and just do it!
