Washi Tape Phone Stand

Washi Tape Phone Stand-001

Do you lose your mobile phone when you’re at home?

I often seem to put mine down somewhere and find myself looking for it later on. Which isn’t so great when hubby phones me from work and I totally miss his calls!

When I saw these wooden phone stands from CleverPatch, I knew they would be the answer. I could sit one on my standing desk and pop my phone onto it each time I came home. It would be right there when I was working and easily heard from other parts of the house as well.

It needed a little dressing up though. Hmmm. Paint? Stickers? Glitter? Yarn? Washi tape!

Easy and quick but super cute.

The stand is made of two pieces which slot together creating a ledge for the phone and a stand at the back.

I simply wrapped a few strips of washi tape around the wood and secured them at the back of the pieces where they were out of sight.

With a little care I matched up the chevrons of the red and white tape to create diamonds – love!

Find these phone holders over at CleverPatch.com.au.

Now I wonder whether I need another one for work…?
