Wynne the Bunny Finished

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Crochet Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

Wynne the Bunny may be the cutest project I’ve ever made. Seriously.

I know it is a big call but look at her!? She is just so cute!

You probably remember my progress post a couple of weeks back where I showed where I was up to. It was slow going but I got there in the end. Amigurumi is a new type of crochet for me and I did find it kind of tricky, especially the really narrow arms and legs. But I do love the finished bunny rabbit.

I didn’t have safety eyes and my bunny is not going to a child, so I used a couple of black buttons for her eyes. They are the kind with a shaft rather than holes in the top.

Please don’t substitute buttons if you’re are going to gift your bunny to a child. The safety eyes are easy to get and could avoid a choking disaster.

I added a little flower to my Wynne. She needed a little something. The pattern includes instructions to create a very sweet felt flower wreath for her to wear but I thought I needed something a little bolder on my darker yarn.  The flower was based on this one from KNTArt which I found on Pinterest but I only created five petals instead of six. I used very fine cotton yarn and size 3 hook.

Wynne the Bunny is all finished and she is so cute! Find out where to find the pattern plus link to the tutorial for her red flower decoration.

You can find the pattern to make your own Wynne the Bunny from Ali of Arabesque Scissors in her Etsy shop.

Thankyou for taking the time to make her, even though it was challenging at times… Her little red flower suits her so well! Isn’t it fun to mod a pattern to suit what we personally like… Really makes it our own then… XAli
