Crochet Cable Blanket Finished

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Crochet Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

The crochet cable blanket has been finished for a while now but I keep forgetting to tell you about it!

Isn’t it lovely?

The cables look super clever but they are actually quite easy once you get the hang of it. It is a four-row pattern repeat so you do need to concentrate a little, unlike some of my other favourite blankets (like the rainbow one here and the denim ripple here.)

The yarn is Cotton Crush 8ply from Bendigo Woollen Mills in Blue Ice, Blueberry Crush, Peacock Crush, Peppermint Crush and Green Tea Crush. It was soft and shiny, and easy to work with.

The blanket is one from the CrochetU classes, an online crochet class club where you get access to a new class each month as well as an active Facebook group. The classes all involved video teaching as well as downloadable patterns. I have loved learning some new crochet skills with these classes – although I’d learn more if I had more time to actually make each project!

My crochet cable blanket is finished and looking lovely in shades of green and blue cotton. Find out all the details and where to find the pattern.

Hi! I love your color selection for the blanket, is truly conforting, at least for me 😉
Your site is AMAZING! So many interesting things 😉 Please keep going ;D
I have a question about CrochetU classes, because I can´t find the answer on the site: can you enroll in a past class? I mean, I want to enroll in this blanket class, is that possible? Because I don´t feel like doing that hexagon thing, I don´t like it. Thank you for your time.
