Modern Quilts

Modern Quilts
Uploaded with Skitch!
I have a twin brother. He’s very cool.
He drives a cute cool car. He plays fun cool games with my kids.
And has very lovely cool fiancee.
(He’s almost as cool as B ;o)
Do you know the most common question you get asked when you’re a twin?
“Are you identical?”
So for years I’ve had conversations that go along these lines…
“Are you identical?”
“Well, he’s a boy…”
“Oh, so can you be identical when he’s a boy?”
“Ummmm… no… I’m a girl… he’s a boy…”
It amazes me how many people need to think this through aloud!
But back to the modern quilts…
I’ve been collecting images of modern quilts on Pinterest
because I have offered to make a quilt as a wedding present
for this very cool couple
and I wanted to give them some ideas.
You can click here to see my collection.
Have you found Pinterest yet?
It’s a site for bookmarking pictures.
So when I find a quilt I like
(and think they might like)
I click on the “Pin It” button in my toolbar
and I can copy the picture and the link to it
into my “Modern Quilts” folder.
Want to give it a try?
Leave me your email and I can invite you to check it out!
Oh, and let me know if you see anything you like,
Cool Twin and Cool Fiancee!

Wow, hadn't realised you are a twin. We have 17 year old boy/girl twin grandchildren and it is just delightful to watch them. They are so close and show so much love for each other! Their mother is also a girl/boy twin and the doctor says that the gene normally skips a generation, but seeing it didn't in their case, our granddaughter is also very likely to have boy/girl twins too!
