Beading Bracelets

A local beading shop runs kids workshops over the school holidays. Little Miss went to one and made a cute flower bracelet.

The base is a type of cuff and the flower is a number of layers that sit together. Once they had joined their flower, they threaded tiny seed beads and criss-crossed the sides. It was an easy enough design but a little fiddly for my 8 year old who hasn’t done much beading before. Perhaps we need to do some more here at home!

I got a new bracelet in the mail too. It was from Summertime on Madeit. I picked it to match my jeans which I seem to wear almost all the time, so it will get lots of wear.

Do you wear bracelets? I didn’t when my kids were smaller and I was picking them up a lot but I’ve recently started to again. Now to remember to put them on in the morning!
