creative craft retreat 2012

Each year I escape for a weekend to Creative Craft Retreat. It is a chance to hang out with crafty friends all weekend and not lift a finger towards meals or cleaning – other than to carry my plate out onto the deck then back to the kitchen!

Last year I taught a beginners quilting class and this year I will teach as well. I’m looking forward to seeing what fabrics my students choose for their Triangle Quilts. Mine was Christmassy but their’s may not be.

There are other classes as well: Embroidery with Val from Val Laird Designs, Knitting with Jade from Jade Lee Designs, Scrapbooking with Liz from Scrap n Patch and a Painted Canvas class with the lovely Mandi-Joy.

The weekend also includes a Guest Speaker on Sunday morning and this year we will hear from my friend B from BBeingCool.

So if you’re in South East Queensland and you’d like a weekend away, read more details about the Retreat at the Creative Craft Retreat blog where you will also find the link to the online registrations.
