One day when Di (from Quiltitis) was visiting me she showed me how to join the ends of my quilt binding to each other so that you end up with continuous binding.
Of course, today when I want to do that, I can’t remember her instructions clearly!
But a little YouTube searching has found this video which I think explains it really well.
UPADTE: The Youtube video I had shared here back in 2011 has since disappeared, so I went looking for a new one.
I love this one from Heirloom Creations even more than the original one I think. I hope it helps you get those binding joins perfect!
Hope it helps you too!

Thank you so much! Your blog is so cute! I love the skirt you just posted – especially the lace at the hem :o)

Thank you so much for that quilt binding video! Although I have made a few quilts I am still new to quilting, so any handy tips that either make the process easier or neater are hugely welcome!! Thanks CM!!

You’re welcome. I still need to check this video again each time I do my binding so I’m glad I put it here where I can find it easily!
