I’ve been sewing pencil cases ready for back to school in a couple of weeks.
At my kids’ school they use large pencil cases
for the Home Reading program.
They are large enough to fit an A4 sheet of paper
and their reading book each night,
plus any notes they need to send home.
All the kids have them and most of them are tartan
so I decided it was time for a bit of individuality.
Mr Happy has dinosaurs on his
and Little Miss has stripes.
If you’d like something similar for your cherubs
I am taking orders.
I may not have the same fabric as these
but I am happy to talk about preferred colours or prints.
Each is made from 100% cotton fabric and lined with interfacing.
Machine washable, of course.
For an older student, they would be large enough
for a 30cm ruler and calculator etc.
