Finished Second Crochet Ripple

 crochet ripple blanket

Last year I made my first ripple crochet blanket using the pattern I found over at Attic 24. I enjoyed making it so much that I immediately wanted to make another one. So I dug out some huge balls of cream yarn that I’d had waiting for  project for literally years, and combined them with all the leftover bits of yarn. I had leftover pinks as well, but I decided to leave those aside and use the blues, greens, browns and purples with the cream.

I think the finished blanket is perfect for a baby boy. It is super soft and warm being 100% wool.

But I may have trouble parting with it…

It’s not that hard, Natalie, especially if you can find a “teacher” to sit with you as you start

Me too, Melanie. Hubby thinks it is kind of “granny” but I find it soothing

I do become attached to some things, especially those I have put so much time into and I know I wont be compensated for that time from the sale! I can see why you are attached to this, it’s beautiful, Tonya.

Thanks Christie. Even when I start things aiming to sell them, I seem to have that moment of angst about parting with them

It looks fab Tonya, I think I would have trouble parting with it too.

I am still struggling to crochet, I will get there one day!

Oops forgot to ask where did you get the pattern and it is easy – haven’t crocheted for years.
