 how to sew zippers

Sewing zippers can be daunting. You need to use a special zipper foot and it’s easy to have them the wrong side up and not realise.

So I thought I’d gather some tutorials that explain nice and clearly how to get your zippers looking great. Whether you’re new to zippers or need a refresher, I hope these links will help you.

Great collection! Zippers can be tricky, this is a handy little reference post to add to my bookmarks/pin boards.

Found via the And Sew We Craft linky party 🙂

I am currently making a bag in my weekly quilting class; I believe it has a zipper in it. I haven’t sewn a zipper by machine in over thirty years – back when I used to make all my own clothes. I have sewn zippers into knitted jackets by hand – it’s not as daunting as I thought it would be!
