Have you seen these cute Lego cars at Shell service stations yet? Have you bought some? They’ve been out there in the stores since the middle of March but there is only one available each week so you might have missed some. If you’ve missed some, keep reading – I might be able to help you out with that problem! {wink}
We love Lego here at The Crafty Mummy house. I’ve written before about our Balloon Powered Car and the Sewing Machine the kids created for me out of Lego, and I often snap pictures of Lego creations to my Instagram account. Lego is one of those creative toys that I am more than happy for my kids to have more of. They never seem to run out of ideas of things to build with it and it can keep them busy for hours.
Back to the Lego Cars
These cars are cool! I mean REALLY cool! They are exclusively designed for Shell with a special tiny pull back motor so they actually drive themselves. Yes, that means you can have races with them! Happy boy at our place!
CraftyDaddy is impressed because they are all Ferrari cars. For your men, they are these models:
- the Ferrari 150 Italia
- the Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto
- the Ferrari F40
- the Ferrari FXX
- the Ferrari 458 Italia
- a Scuderia Ferrari Truck
These Lego cars are $6 with purchase of $40 Shell V-Power fuel, or $8 without a fuel purchase at participating Shell service stations. That’s pretty good for a limited edition collectible.
For the motorsport fans, Shell’s has a technical partnership with the Ferrari team, and for those wanting to find outlets selling V-Power fuel, check out their Fuel Finder App for your smart phone.
Giveaway
So back to how I can help you out with this collection? Well, I have a complete set of the 6 cars to giveaway to one lucky reader. Yay!
But there’s more: Shell and Lego have also created a set of mini figures to go with these. There are only 2000 sets of these. I’d love to show you pictures but I wasn’t lucky enough to get the figures, only the cars, so someone is going to be even more excited than my boy!
You could win both the cars and the mini figures – a super special prize package!

Wow, what an awesome prize! Thank you so much for the chance to enter.
I have three boys aged 7, 8 and 9. My eldest and my youngest have Autism Spectrum Disorder and they are Lego fanatics! I love watching my three boys play with their lego because of the way they interact with each other while they do it. Their imaginations come to life and the stories they create are amazing. But most of all I love the way my eldest is with his youngest brother, teaching him how to build each piece and the way my youngest looks up to him like he is just the coolest big brother ever because he knows everything, lol.

I would love these for my son. He is so car crazy. I have never seen anything like it. I am also trying to encourage him to toilet train. I really need some bribes……I mean rewards and these would be perfect!

I have been with a family in a nanny position for almost three years (July27) would have been my anniversary date. Due to health reasons I have to leave the little man I actually introduced to Lego ‘s this past Christmas. He’s fallen head over heals for them, and that’s whom I’d like to see get this awesome gift to remember me by because I don’t have any extra finances because it was quite sudden.
Thank you for considering both he and I.

I would give these to my grandson who is here thru the week. He is really into Lego . He has alot of fun building them and even teaches me how to fix them the right way LOL This would be so nice to win this for him. Thanks so much.

Yesterday my eldest six year old boy, finally built his first Lego creation all by himself using all of the instructions! He was so super proud of himself and had no idea of the wealth of learning experiences that had been accomplished in this process, from literary awareness, counting, fine motor skill development, concentration and once it was complete, he exhibited a whole heap of creativity! I would love for him to have the opportunity to build all of the Ferrari cars, although we would need to continue to enforce the strict rule that Lego is played with on the table, otherwise his triplet siblings would eat it!

I would love to win these cars! And… as much as I would like to say that my children would build them, I would bet my eye teeth that Mr Cool would ‘help’ them. I can also assure you that if Mr Cool were to ‘help’ the children put these together, once they had gone to bed, he would pull them apart and put them together again – perfectly.
We love Lego here. Such a great toy to have and I agree, you can never have too much.
What a great competition! Yay for you!

Caden loves Lego! Me not, so much because I always seem to stand on stray Lego pieces.
I am sure this would be a father/son bonding moment with these sets. Right now they are both watching car racing together while one of is building Lego. So this themed Lego would be just perfect for those two!
Emma says
my five year old is Lego mad. I would love to win these for him, because he will flip out!
Kaye Parker says
I would give these to my 3 boys to love and enjoy and spend some quality time with each other while sharing the love…

If I won, my 7-year-old son would get to build these fantastic cars. He’s a huge motorsport enthusiast and says he wants to be a racing champion when he grows up. I’ve been hesitant to let him ride his little motorbike since he had a nasty fall a few months ago (nothing broken thankfully), so toys have been his main source of fun recently and Lego is by far his favourite toy. We both love Lego.
Narelle @ Cook Clean Craft says
I would give this prize to my husband,
To share with our little boy.
There’s no greater joy than love,
Than father and son, cemented with Lego toys.
Prue says
My four year old would get the chance to build the Lego cars, he is obsessed with cars & Lego, a perfect combination. The only problem would be trying to keep dad away from the action, he’s just as obsessed with cars & Lego!

What a wonderful competition ,
I would give them to my 7yr old son , building lego is his “me time” away from his brother and sister (he is a middle child ) they tend to gang up on him quiet abit , and when he has had enough he goes into his room and starts building allsorts of contraptions with his legos , when finished he loves to give us a run down on each and every item and its workings !
Cheers Sharyn 🙂

My brother has a family of little girls. I know he would love to ‘drive’ these amazing LEGO vehicles up to the dolls house when invited in for tea parties.

My husband works hard for us (kids 10 years old, 22 months old and 7 months old) and helps me alot with the kids when he is at home. He is a reasonable responsible mature almost 42 years old boy. His birthday is coming soon and he has not given me any suggestion of what he would like as a gift. He keeps saying that all he needs is my love and presence next to him every day, and he says also that he needs nothing but to see his kids and wife happy. But he is a car and lego lover! I think these cars would be a great surprise and a wonderful reward for all the time and energy he spends at work for his family’s well-being. He would just LOVE them. 😉
Michelle V says
I’d keep them until Christmas then place them under the Kmart Wishing Tree for a little boy who will be a stranger to me,and whose smile I’ll never see…
Narelle Rock says
I would love to see my 6yr old daughter put these together and then I would present them to her as a trophy, she always gets frustrated that her big brother can build things faster than her, I think it would really build up her self esteem if she could do it all by herself.
Elise Ellabban says
For my gorgeous little man – who is inheriting a fabulous set of lego from his big sisters one day soon. The fantastic sets he will inherit are all pink and purple though! Much as my husband loved to build stables and hairdressing salons with our big girl, I know he will have a great time building and playing race cars with his little man
jody jamieson says
my sons and there daddy would get to build and display these cars as there formula 1 mad and just love lego and building it together and dads a mechanic and would love these so much
Lisa Barton-Collins says
As much as my two sons will beg for these amazing Lego collectibles, I would give them to my husband. Why? Because I know that secretly he loves Lego more than the boys, they are collectibles after all and god know he needs help with his superannuation portfolio, and finally: it is the only way I will ever be able to give him a Ferrari!

I would give this to my young son. He loves lego and is obsessed with cars so this would be the ideal toy for him!
Val Laird says
Ferrari, Hoorary, they are so cool.
Two grandsons are certainly going to drool.
I expect I’ll have to make it a rule
That they definitely can’t play with them at school.
If I win it for them, they won’t need a tool
To build this Lego which is such a jewel.
Janelle says
What awesome cars!
Six lego cars to give away,
One for each of my family.
Fun races to keep boredom at bay,
And my teenage dream to own a Ferrari.
Mum Talks Autism says
I like some of your other readers have children with autism. my boys are 20 6 and 5 and as mentioned also my boys ‘obsession’ is lego so I can not say how much this would mean to not only them but me as their mum to give them something not many if no other kids will have. I would not like to be you there are some wonderful comments in this comp. Thanks for the chance. Much Appreciation Mum Talks Autism
Sandra D says
I will give it to my son – a happy son means a happy and unharassed Mum!
Jodie says
My two year old would love these. My six year old would be over the moon. But my 38 year old? Well, you have no idea how much he’d appreciate these Lego cars. Back when Lego hooked up with Star Wars, he was excited. But he’d think this was a match made in heaven! He’d build them first – perhaps in the dead of night – and then the kids would be allowed to join in the fun.
Bindi says
My husband is way more serious about his Lego than our kids are (and they love it!) Only problem is that he would insist on displaying them. Sigh.
Melita Maidment says
My 11 year old son would be the keenest Lego builder in our house. He also has an obsession with all things Ferrari and is determined to go to Italy one day and drive one 🙂 I would love him to win them and see how fun some simple Lego cars can be, not every toy needs to be flashing, expensive and complicated!
