Washi tape.
Love it.
So many pretty colours and designs.
So easy to create quick projects and decorate just about anything.
I got this lovely set of 5 washi tapes from Emma Lovepie on Etsy. A couple of notebooks and pencils from Coles during the grocery run and I have a couple of cute new notebooks. One set is going beside my bed for all those that seem to run around my head at night and stop me from settling to sleep. The other is going in my car for all the fabulous ideas I seem to get while driving around town.
Emma has lots of gorgeous washi tape in her store as well as other crafty bits and pieces. I bought my wooden handled crochet hooks from her recently and I love them!

My favourite item in the Emma Lovepie shop is the gorgeous red chunky crochet cowl – I love cowls. This would brighten up any winters day and keep you warm during work and play!
With the beautiful washi tape I would use them in my miniatures projects e.g. dolls houses and dioramas, they would make perfect wallpaper borders for my rooms.

My favourite item other than the washi tape is the crochet hooks in the case. I need to learn to crochet so I can make that beautiful rainbow blanket of yours! As for the washi tape, I really love the oriental flowers. I think I would use it to decorate some boxes we have in the bathroom that hold face wshers and our lotios & potions! I would also use some to decorate the shoe box that the barbie & tinkerbell dolls currently live in (don’t worry, they’re moving into a proper doll house at christmas!). Wait, I just thought maybe I could use the washi tape to make some wall art or to decorate the back of some shadow boxes in the bathroom…………or the craft room………..or maybe I could use it to decorate the mdf letters so the kids can have their names on their doors………….so many options……….wait one more! Maybe I could decorate my laptop. That would make me happy seeing that every morning when I open up the computer and I might not work so late just so I can close the computer and see the beautiful top. Ok I’d better stop now. It’s the craft show in Melbourne next weekend and washi tape is definately on the shopping list!

I love all the items in her store! Especially the crochet hooks (I’m just learning to crochet)… I am also in love with the scarves & beanies (the fact it is freezing & rainy here in Toowoomba may also have something to do with that!)
With the Washi Tape, I would like to cover up some of my dull old light switches, we own a ‘post war’ home so finding replacement light switches (even those ‘new covers’ don’t really fit) is a bit tricky, but some lovely bright tape could really jazz them up! But honestly the possibilities are endless with such pretty & versatile tape!
Thank you for running this give away, I will keep my fingers crossed 🙂 xo

I love the Lace Crochet Collar in Sky Blue! Peter Pan type collars are currently my obsession. With the washi tape, I had the idea of sprucing up my plain walls with it! I want to have ton of photos on my wall but I don’t want to go out and buy a bunch of different frames for each one ( because I don’t want the same frame for every picture! Too boring!) and having pin into the wall inorder to hang them will ruin my wall! Also I don’t just want to leave the pictures without some kind of bordering…so instead I could do DIY picture frames with the tape! (: I think it’s a better alternative and it can easily be removed without leaving behind marks! Or I would just use it for nail art. It would be better than going out and buying those nail art stickers that cost about $10 for only enough stickers to use once! With the roll of washi tape I could do my nails atleast 10 times more!

1) I like the crochet hooks in Emma’s store, particularly the bamboo ones as they look very nice!
2) I’ve never used washi tape before, but have seen posts all over the place with people using it so would love to try it out. I came across a whole blog dedicated to washi-ness (that’s a good place to lose yourself for a few hours!!) and this in particular caught my eye – 100 Ways to Washi: http://thewashiblog.com/100-ways-to-washi/ So what would I like to do? Umm, all of them, they all look so pretty!

In Emma’s store I loved the little crochet hair clips – these would look so cute in my daughters hair. With the Washi tape I would like to decorate my A5 sized note books and also to decorate some plain storage boxes in my studio
thanks

I love all the washi tape – especially the chevrons!
I use washi tape in my journals and I’d like to try an idea I saw on a blog somewhere, to cover tin cans with tape and use for storage but I guess you have to be careful there were no sharp edges!!
Paige says
I love the set of washi tape with the measuring tape, pink and red flowers. How gorgeous. I have the perfect project in mind which I saw in my latest “making” magazine. I would buy a coloured or opaque vase and run the washi tape up the vase in strips. It looked very effective and I can’t wait to try it!

Crochet Clock – Decorative Kitsch Clock : Red Floral Handmade Home Décor is my favourite item in the shop – its so different and unique concept.
I will use washi tape to decorate stationary items for my prep going boy and decorate empty kitchen roll tubes to make marble run for him.

Emma has the most gorgeous things in her store! My favourite were definitely the crochet hair clips, but I LOVED her selections of washi tape. I have made a few cards using washi tape. The next thing I want to try is decorating some accessories for my office desk. I have some plain tins with lids for my desk to keep pens and other bits and pieces in and plain white storage boxes . . . I’d love to experiment with some washi tape and my creative talents to see what I can come up with! Working with colour is so much fun 🙂

I love the measuring tape washi I’ve seen on her store. Would be perfect in Lior’s scrapbook – going with the whole “growing” theme!!
Emilee says
#1 I LOVE the bamboo crochet hooks!!!
#2 I would first make some wall art in my daughters room, then if there is some leftover, I would cover some clothes pins!
Briana says
My favorite item is the slouchy grey beanie.
As for the project, I would use the washi tape to cover various objects, then use those to create a sorting game for my two year old. Objects with patterned tape would go in different marked holes on a shoebox.

Oh I do like the stich markers and sewing needle. Very Very Handy.
I’d make one of two things, or two of two things if I’m being honest. First of all I’d mark all my cords in the kitchen, I have a double point that we chop and change five cords and I never know which is which.
I’d also whip up a little bunting using some washi and twine.
Karen says
I have to say that I love the different patterned washi tape.
If I was to win I would use the washi tape to decorate my idea board in the craftroom and to decorate empty glass jars for holding a variety of items, or to use as a simple votive holder.

I think that my comment got eaten.

The Teal Fashion Scarf would be ideal on this freezing cold day. stylish, gorgeous and snuggly.
The washi tape could and would be used in so many ways. One thing that I have been meaning to do is create a collection of containers for all the pens lying around the house. I kid you not when I say that there are pens in every room and yet I can never find one. I’d like to decorate some glass jars or even some decent sized tins (unbreakable is a bonus).
Carolyn says
I love the crochet hair clips, they would look gorgeous in my two little girls hair. I love using Washi tape on my scrapbooking layouts and beyond the page items.
Jenny says
I’d have to say the Mini Crochet Heart Garland. Loads of testosterone in my house – I’m always trying to fill it up with pretty girly things! I’d put this around my craft room to scare the boys away!
Yafit Kachlon says
Wow…lovely items…i think i like hair clips the most!! So chicky…
If i ever win the washi… i would choose the black gingham and pale dotted orange . i work in a standart bank . The management does not allow to paste anything on the boring walls and if i paste the washi maybe they will allow me… only because these the bank’s logo colors. Also washi is easy to remove so maybe it will convince them to show some creativity and decorate this naked wall i have!!!
Casey says
My favorite item is the : Mini Crochet Heart Garland -Wedding Party Cake Decoration, very simple and very cute.
I would use the washi tape to decorate some pen/pencil holders for my desk at home and at work plus some for my craft room.
Jen Cragen says
I favorited the set of 8 crochet flower hair grips. I have a wedding in a couple of years and think this will make a great favor idea.
I would use washi tape to make stationery for my wedding invitations and such. We are doing a crafty wedding. ♥
Elena says
My favorite item at the Emma lovepie shop was the crocheted flower hair clips. I think that they are really cool because I’m learning how to crocheted and they look simple enough that I could try to make one myself! (Also they’re really cute!)
I think that what I would do with the washi tape is either cover a lamp shade or a ceiling light with washi tape in a design so that when you put in the bulb and turn it on the light would shine through and look all cool and glowy!
