I’m planning to take part in a new photo a day challenge aimed especially at creative crafty types. It is called #CTMonthintheLife and is being run by Jess over at Create and Thrive. I took an online course with Jess last year all about running and growing your handmade business, and although I haven’t really been growing my Madeit store, I found she is a very savvy lady. I had the pleasure of meeting her last year at the ProBlogger event on the Gold Coast too and she did a great presentation.
This photo a day challenge is happening on Instagram and the idea is to share some of the behind the scenes of your creative process. You can join in every day or just some of the days according to the prompts on the list.

I think this is a wonderful idea. I’m a little out of the mainstream because I am trying to work without cybertools. I had a burglary and don’t want to waste precious dollars and time trying to accumulate equipment that still may be vulnerable to another theft. I use a Canon SLR film camera, Polaroid paper and a projector to make montages. I also dabble with painting. I’m behind the times- I guess way behind. I don’t upload to the Web.
