August 2010 in Review

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Crafts Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

I thought this month I’d do a quick review of what I’ve been up to –
and shout out to some other bloggy friends…
I finished these projects…

I was featured at…
Pony Tails and Fish Scales (Twice!) (no, 3 times)
My Craftie Life (Twice!) (and again!)
504 Main
CraftGossip
One Pretty Thing
Not So Crafty

My Baby Boy Quilt was featured on Craftgawker. Also my Dinosaur Mazes and my Paper Roses and my Charm Square Pouch. You can see some beautiful craft projects over there!

I received a blog award from the Showcase Sisters and Kincavel Krosses – thank you again!

I wrote a huge list of crafty link parties.

And lastly but most special, I started blogging at Friends Who Cook with my friend B, who also writes BBeingCool. This blog will be our way of sharing the recipes that friends and family are always asking us for in one place. And you can get in on our grand scheme by contributing your recipes to share too! We’d love to see you over there and maybe you’ll be the lucky first to be featured 😉

Hope you had a great August too!

Wow, what a productive Mummy you are. I'm totally impressed and I just love all the "patchworky" goodness you've shared. Your little boy's quilt is especially beautiful.

What a great idea to recap your month of projects!

I have a question for you- what do you recommend for a first-ever project for a new sewer? I got a sewing machine for my birthday a few months ago and am scared to use it! LOL. Anything you can recommend would be wonderful. Thanks in advance- you are such a talented seamstress and I'd love to be as great as you one day at sewing.

I absolutely love the fabrics you use for your projects! What an incredibly productive month. I love the way you put it all together into a monthly review. Brilliant idea!
