Time for another update on the 365 Things I Know. It really is interesting to see which tips and tricks pop into my head each day!
You can join in too using the hashtag #365ThingsIKnow on Instagram.
If you want to follow along with these each day, find me here on Instagram.
Day 31
I’m very lucky to be able to call all my sewing and quilting and crochet “work”. It certainly isn’t full time work and it doesn’t make millions but it brings me joy to share my projects.
Read about my standing desk here.
Day 32
I love starting new projects – especially small ones that won’t take long to finish.
(This project is still on the go – it has been a busy week here at Crafty HQ with not much tome for sewing! But you can find this pretty fabric here.)
Day 33
Getting my monthly QuiltyBox is like getting a special surprise present! The mini Quilters Planner is so gorgeous!
Find out more about QuiltyBox here.
Day 34
It is exciting to have finished all the pieces of Wynne the Bunny!
Day 35
If you’ve found the buttons for a project but are not ready to use them yet, a paper clip is the perfect way to keep them safe.
Day 36
Transferring all my DMC embroidery thread to cards in a box was one of the best things I ever did for finding colours and storing them easily. I have two boxes worth collected over almost 30 years – ouch! Feeling old!
Read about how I store my threads here.
Day 37
I had good intentions of writing a blog post about my pastel rainbows today but it hasn’t quite happened yet. I’m learning to give myself grace when days don’t go to the original plan.
See my finished pastel rainbow blocks here.
Day 38
There has not been enough crochet this week. Or enough time to keep up with Instagram. #priorities#somethingsgottagive
Read about my denim ripple blanket here.
Day 39
My pretty chairs always look better when we’ve done the Saturday morning tidy up and removed all the stuff that gets dumped there!
Read about my pretty chairs here.
Day 40
Wynne the Bunny needed a little red flower. Thank you Arabesque Scissors for the chance to make something fun and learn some new skills!
