Things I Know 91-100

by Tonya Grant |Filed Under: Crafts, Photography Tagged With: #365thingsIknow Get a Weekly Update of all Articles

Yay!

I finally made it to 100 days of my 365 Things I Know challenge!

It has certainly taken me more than 100 days but I was determined to keep going even though I wasn’t managing to post every single day. I still 365 things even if I don’t post one EVERY day.

You can see my original posts – with more emojis! – on Instagram. And don’t forget to follow me while you’re over there!

Day 91

I should ALWAYS buy an extra ball of yarn because I ALWAYS seem to need to go back and get one later!  Luckily my local Spotlight Store had one left.

Read more about my Lacy Chevron Wrap here.

Day 92

I must remember that for today’s projects, it is more important that they get finished than that they be perfect in every tiny detail.  I’m having so much fun helping out with costumes and props for High School Musical. Perhaps I missed a calling in theatre…

Day 93

Having my sewing machine and overlocker side by side on my sewing table really saves time on projects. I also had my huge cutting mat set up on the dining table with the ironing board beside it so I could move between my three “stations”.

Find the tutorials for my sewing mats with pockets for the sewing machine here and the overlocker here.

Day 94

No one else was as excited as I was to see the banners I’ve been working on go up in the theatre today.  So fun to see the end result!

Day 95

I need to be involved in more musicals. It is fun!  As a parent, of course – not on stage!

Day 96

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Updating some posts on my website this morning and remembering how these simple paper roses were such a hit when I wrote the tutorial.

Read my tutorial on how to make paper roses here.

Day 97

Our mornings are getting chilly so this lacy chevron wrap is going to get plenty of use very soon.

Day 98

Love the colours in this month’s QuiltyBox!  Fabric & pattern from Monaluna Design.  Thread from Superior Threads. Flatter spray from Soak Wash. Thank you QuiltyBox!

Find out more about Quilty Box – fabric (and more) subscription boxes every month – here.

Day 99

Crochet + Podcast = Lovely Sunday Afternoon  What is your favourite thing to do on Sunday afternoons?

I love my crochet hooks! Find them here.

Day 100

I’ve been working on crochet projects lately but my yarn stash is growing rather than getting smaller.

Read about how to store your yarn here.
