It is time for another update on the 365 Things I Know project. This is my attempt to share on Instagram every day this year but I am sadly behind on the ‘every day’ bit! Still I continue to share as I can and eventually I will get to 365.
As always you can find the Instagram version of my posts here – and don’t forget to follow me while you’re over there!
Sometimes I forget all the things I’ve written about or made over the past couple of years so it is like a surprise when I come across them again on my blog. It makes me smile. This lacy wrap was a quick weekend project a couple of years ago.
So happy to get some progress on these giant appliqué letters. My favourite appliqué method uses Vliesofix to secure the letters then machine stitching to attach them.
My sewing room is my happy place today.
Even when I go to Spotlight Stores for specific items – today it was red and black fabric – I still get distracted. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Today it was the rainbow threads.
I almost forgot to show you the last QuiltyBox! Swipe to see it all. LOVE the rainbow fabric by Alison Glass for Andover Fabrics.
If you’re working on a project over a few days and need to remember your stitch settings, just add a sticky note on your sewing machine. Easy!
It’s Friday but Sunday’s coming. #GoodNews
I’m loving working with my Caron Cakes yarn – super soft and squishy!
Buying a pinking blade for my rotary cutter has saved me SO MUCH TIME cutting these bunting flags! Totally recommend it. Mine is by Olfa.
